My real name is Jessica. I’m 24 years old and living with my Russian boyfriend fiance husband and our bunny (he’s litter-trained!) in Massachusetts.
“Shushka” is a nickname given to me by my boyfriend fiance husband… I got it after I recited a Russian tongue-twister all wrong
Stas and I in Ukraine, 2007
our bunny Tykovka:
I grew up watching and helping my mom and grandmother cook, which is how I developmed my own love cooking and baking. I love trying new recipes and I’m admittedly over-protective of my kitchen.
I try to cook a lot of Russian food for Stas. Personally, I find most Russian food to be a little too rich/fatty/carb-loaded for my tastes… but I do LOVE pickles, tongue, smoked fish, and marinated mushrooms.
For myself, I eat “clean”… whole foods – fruits, vegetables, lean proteins. I try to avoid sugar, anything processed, trans fats, etc. (but that doesn’t mean I don’t occasionally cook these things – for Stas or for coworkers
)

Hey Shushka (I think that’s your name),
I wasn’t sure where else to write this, but I just wanted to say thanks for linking to my blog (Step Up). I really do appreciate the support.
Talk soon,
Tony
Hey Tony! My name is Jessica (I should probably add that on my About Me page)…. Shushka is a nickname.
I’m a big fan of your blog! I really enjoy your no-bullsh*t attitude towards training. I wish I lived closer to Hudson to train at Cressey Performance.
