Look who I came home to! Isn’t he the cutest? My very own Birthday Cheburashka!! (it’s from Stas)
When you press his hand, he says a bunch of cute things in Russian 🙂
Now my regular Cheburashka won’t be lonely:
I turned 24 today… I’m quickly approaching the quarter-century mark 🙂
I celebrated it by getting up at 5:30am to get to my work’s gym for the first day of a 3-week Bosu exercise class (woo hoo!). Actually, I really enjoy working out – and morning workouts are a great way to get energized.
Aaaanyway, after the class, I had a full day of work. My parents brightened my day by sending me a bouquet of flowers with a birthday balloon 🙂 My mom said she wanted to make sure that everyone knew it was my birthday – and it worked! I got a lot more “happy birthdays” after that.
When I got home from work, Birthday Cheburashka was waiting for me on the kitchen table, along with a birthday card. I opened the bigger part of my gift from Stas last night – it was a jacket that I fell in love with in Ukraine. It’s GORGEOUS!! I’m a little sad that it’ll be too cold to wear it soon 😦
When Stas gets home in a few minutes, we’re going out to eat to my favorite sushi restaurant – Oishii Boston.
I love my birthday 🙂
